Re: Motorizing a grain mill . . . . . . without a drill

All excellent answers. Thanks!

What brand/model of mill does everyone have?

Is three rollers better than two?

Motorizing a grain mill . . . . . . without a drill

I am looking to create a motorized grain mill and attach it to the top of an existing cabinet that is on casters. While I have seen motorized grain mills that either run on hand drills or are belt driven. . . I am trying to see if there would be a gear box that I could attach either inside or outsid...

Re: Storing Grain

Thanks for the advice.

I do have a vent in the garage that I could open and cool it, but I would still have to deal with the humidity.

At least I have some time to figure out storage when it is too humid.

I was wondering if it would help to tape a silica packet to the inside of the lid so it would absorb any tiny amount of moi...

Re: Grain mill special!

I, for one, would be very interested in seeing a seminar on how to motorize a grain mill. . . . . however I need to purchase said grain mill first.

Make Beer Not War

I was helping a customer ship something off and happen to glance at what it was.

Cool, unique pint glasses that seem perfect for a homebrewer.

Though I would share the link.

Have a great week!

Re: 3 CO2 Tanks

I am sure they are out of circulation if they are going that cheap. Oh well, I didn't get home in enough time to bid. No biggie. Thanks all who offered help and suggestions. :)

Re: 3 CO2 Tanks

I haven't even bid on them yet so (right now) I don't need anyone to pick them up for me, but thanks a lot for the offer! I think that if I have time tonight, right before the auction ends, I might try and bid on them, but the last time I did it that way the site was acting very slow and I missed my...

Re: 3 CO2 Tanks

I couldn't pick them up any day from 8 to 4 (or even 8 to 5 for that matter). The only auctions that they have that I can go to are the few on Saturdays or the auctions that they allow shipping. :(
