Yakima Valley Hops?

Anybody ever buy hops from Yakima Valley Hops? They are advertising 2017 hops in a 2 ounce size which caught my attention because I like knowing how old my hops are and I don't want to buy hops by the pound any more. Let me know what you thought of the quality of their hops. Thanks. Tom.

(No, the scientists in the funny suits still haven’t determined why the paint is peeling off my F-150.) But no...

Didn't get to Amnesia, but Widmer had 5 IPA's on tap. That's my style. They had an imperial ipa, rye ipa, black ipa and two single hop ipa's with experimental hops (X-114 & X-369). All good. The imperial stout was good too.

Re: Seeking suggestions for brewpubs for Season 3 vidcast

Two more places in San Diego....... San Diego Brewing Co is a nice little brewpub that brews some to decent beers and some are very good. Blind Lady Ale House was at the time I visited, just an ale house, but apparently the owner, Lee Chase (former head brewer at Stone) has started up Automatic Brew...

Pizza Port with locations in Ocean Beach (San Diego), Solana Beach, Carlsbad & San Clamente. Carlsbad is my favorite. Pizza Port was large brewpub of the year at GABF this year. Alpine Beer Company in Alpine CA a short drive east of San Diego and has great beer. Stone Brewing in Escondido. You h...

Re: How do you aerate your wort?

About a year ago, I bought one of these: http://www.northernbrewer.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/265x/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/i/m/image_609.jpg It is a air pump that has a HEPA filter in line and uses a 2-micron stainless steel air stone. After about 10 batches, it isn't working ...
