Re: Beer Bread

I threw in some pepper jack cheese and used a stout for the beer Tried a great super smokey cheddar and some smoked porter Flattened it out on waxed pape...

Just a note, in case anyone is ever in a pinch. We have the same set up at home as Dropzone has for filling co2 tanks. Our sons are avid paintballers and keep a 50lb co2 tank with the fill station and scales up and running in the basement. Nick only charges a buck or two over what the co2 costs him,...

Just an FYI to all that have responded. Rob and I have been trying to get a hold of Don to ok prices but can't get him to respond. I am keeping all the emails, and right now all is spoken for, if prices work out. Sorry for the delay.

Can I buy 2 lbs of Chocolate Malt from somone?

So I don't have to drive to Olathe or Topeka this week just for that. I would appreciate it.

Just my two cents again... even though we have been brewing for about 4 years now, I really think I still have a lot to learn. I really would appreciate seminars, however, I feel like I have seen the same ones over and over, since I became a member. What about somehow rounding the seminar around the...

Stuff for sale-Updated

Don Josling moved and left us with his brew stuff to sell. He wasn't sure what to ask for things, so he is taking offers. 1 three tier stand with two burners, is made with bed frames. I think it needs just a bit of TLC, he built it to be collapsible. best offer 1 cut keg -$20 Mash Tun. Large rect. C...

Thanks so much, I couldn't remember quite what they looked like, but knew I liked the wood look better than stainless for my basement. I guess I am thinking of a 4 so that I can add a nitro tap at sometime. What would be the problem of a hinged top so that you would have easy access to shank and tap...

Could I please have a picture of the wooden three tap tower

Just became the proud owner of three new perlick faucets. Thought there used to be a picture of the two wooden 3's but can't find it on here now. Just would like to see a pic, thinking of a building project.

Thanks,
Melissa

Fermenter Question

I have a couple of the blue fermenters that Andy used to have. I had trouble with infection so I quit using them. I need to get them back into the rotation, wondering what those that have them are using for the lid sealant. I know Shane said something about seals from other lids, just don't remember...

Giving away my old mash tun, needs TLC- Gone

If you want it you can have it. It still has the valve on it and it could be cleaned and used. You would need a new braid and such. At worst you would get a free cooler with a hole in the front that just needs a good cleaning. It has set out on my deck for a month or two. Just let me know. If no tak...

I made trellis that goes from the ground to the top of the rail on our deck apprx 15-16 ft. They grow all the way up and then intertwine around the spindles on the deck. So I would say they are getting 16-20 ft high. The first year I used fishing line and found it was not strong enough to hold them ...

Rob does tile. He just finished 1100 sq ft marble in a basement and could give the reference. Give him a call
