Would people mind chiming in here just to say if they will be bringing a trinket of two for the raffle? I'd like to get a sense of how big the raffle is going to be. I will be bringing a few beer gadgets and some assorted commercial beers, and maybe some old playboys if I can find them.... . I've g...

Court Avenue, Des Moines

We ate lunch here on the way to Chicago. Nice building in the downtown area near the Capitol. The food was pretty good. I had some fish tacos and Kendra had a greek salad. Since we were driving, we only had a beer each. I had a cask porter, that was pretty tasty. I'm always down for cask beer. They ...

Goose Island, Clybourn

The food was pub fare, but the beer was amazing! I started off with a Dirty Goose, a hoppy brown ale. Next up was...

Ask and you shall receive. The Kriek De Ranke didn't make it through New Year's eve. Excellent beer. I highly recommend it.

Nice haul. If you like that Abt 12, you still might be able to find a few bottles of the 60th Anniversary Abt 12 on the Missouri side. The St. Bernardus Christmas Ale was pretty nice as well.

For those that do not know, GI BCS is something like $20 /4pack.
Worth every penny IMO. An amazing beer. Like drinking chocolate cake.
You'll pay more for a beer at Arrowhead!

New Belgium La Folie is also on the Missouri side.
Get it quick, it won't last long. I think it is going for $14.99 a 750ml.
