Re: Is my beer ruined, or how will my beer turn out?

I still have a keg of it from well over a year ago. It's drinkable, but I am no fan of it. You've already invested the time to brew it. Might as well see it through to the end. You never know, it could be great.

Re: Johnson Controller

I remember Shane using a Whitelabs yeast vial. He put a thermowell through the cap, cut open a cold pack and squeezed it into the vial, then put the lid on, and the probe into the thermowell. He claimed he noticed a decrease in cycling. I like the compact design, but I do wonder if the gel is the be...

Genius? Or the most gimmicky pretentious crap ever? You decide.

Free BYO subscription

It is time to renew my BYO subscription. With it comes a gift subscription. If you do not currently subscribe to BYO, this is a pretty sweet way to get in on it. So free BYO subscription to the first person who responds to this.

Water heaters (especially older ones) can contain mineral deposits, bacteria, and other impurities. Older homes may also have pipes with l...

Firefox has spell check built in. Try it. Love it. Use it.

You may also consider upgrading your browser to the latest version. Internet Explorer 8 for example may have spell check built in, and if not, there is probably an addon.
