Re: Lawrence has a new brewery

Looks like they are having a tasting at the Eagles Lodge on March 14th. Shane, has Bucky heard of these guys? Sounds like they have a link to Power Plant.

Bronze Age Beer

Cool video of making beer in a wooden trough called a (word I can understand through the accent) modeled after a bronze age vessel.

Re: Home Theater Equipment for Sale

For you audiophile dorks. This is hilarious.

Its a thread from an AV forum where someone is asking how to spend $300K on the ultimate system.

The third reply down is the best reply possible!

Actually both of my pumps are March pumps from B3.

Re: Happy Birthday LBG

I'll be alright so long as some jackass doesn't try to take my seat at the bar on Paddy's day, causing me to beat him senseless and in turn get thrown in jail, be unable to post bail and as a result find myself unable to attend the party.

I imagine it is a result of Search Engine views. You may notice that all the views are high on the commercial review threads.

I'd be interested in the sinner club, but $30 per 375ml bottle is way too spendy for me.

Price figure:

Average shipping cost from faq $20 x 6 shipments=$120
+
Cost of membership $235
?
12 bottles
=
$29.58 per 375ml bottle

Stopped by Riley's Wines of the World last night and picked up: New Glarus Unplugged Apple Ale New Glarus Unplugged Imperial Weizen New Glarus Unplugged Bohemian Lager New Glarus Un...

at 22psi, no agitation, and 44 degrees, my beers are usually carbonated in 3 days. It is possible that you may have over carbonated, but the 10 inch picnic tap could also be the problem as Bill indicated. You may consider making a longer tap line (5+ft), coiling it up, and securing it with zip ties ...

That is the theory. I have not done much bottle conditioning, but I imagine there is always some amount of risk of bottle bombs. So store them someplace out of the way, and covered in a towel just in case.
