Re: How do you aerate your wort?

I was using a setup similar to yours Rob, but I recently got my hands on a HUGE 02 tank (given to my mother in law by medicare, which she doesn't use) so I will be using this in the future. I have a .5 micron stone with in-line filter. The plan is for less than 2 minutes of pure 02 set on 2 on the r...

just remember that a standard U.S. Sanke keg is 15.5 gallons, which is a 1/2 bbl.

While I'm not willing to travel to drink 20 year old Schlitz, I'd love to hear if it still holds its own!

Re: 25g kettles

The one I have doesn't have wheels - flat bottom. If you're fly sparging you might have a channeling problem where the axle hump is. I'm pretty sold on the 72 qt coleman. I have the square Coleman w/ wheels and I have no issue with channeling at all. My efficiencies are in the mid to high 80's with...

Re: Updating my Brewery.....Ideas

so, it's summer and you are looking for a project :bounce: I like the idea of making your own steam jacket. You could direct-fire the steam jacket or make a setup like Jack's and use an external keggle to heat the water and circulate it through as needed. You could then use the water, if you feel it...
