Re: Belgian Yeasts
I just found a cheap source so glycerin. Went to the local Walgreen's and asked the pharmacist for Glycerin. She scratched her head and scurried off into the back. She came back with an a bottle of it. I think it was 8 or 16 oz for about $2.35

Re: Panty Drop Lemonade
zell, I checked on the lemon aid this morning (48 hours) and it is going like gangbusters. The yeast has a nice crimson forming and bubbling like crazy. I think the large starter and addition of one can of lemon aid to the starter decreased the lag time for the batch. six more days and we will see i...

1. I also second read "How to Brew" by John Palmer. It is a great book which breaks brewing down starting with extract brewing to all grain. 2. Do a Google search on beer brewing. You will have a wealth of information at your finger tips. Most of the info is very accurate. 3. Brewing is li...

My name is Jason Latham. I live in Lenexa and am a newbie. Just started brewing about 4 weeks ago, trying to work the bugs out, build/gather equipment and brew some awesome beer.
