Sale on 3gal pin-lock kegs

Not sure when it started, not sure how many they have, or how many they'll have left. I'm ball-lock or I'd be all over this. Anybody that's pin-lock though might want to jump on this deal: http://www.homebrewing.org/3-Gallon-Cornelius-Style-Pin-Lock-Keg-Used_p_4540.html?utm_source=Brew+with+the+luck...

Re: Keezer builds? Bring me your pics and ideas!

There's one pic that illustrates very clearly why you should never use long tap handles on a top-freezer refrigerator. Or if you must, plan accordingly and lower your shanks to accommodate them. Because, inevitably, some idiot you didn't invite to your after-hours will, without fail, try to open the...

Re: Duvel buys Boulevard

More info here, in an article I wrote that pulls from various other sources, as well as some reporting of my own to come, as things progress. http://brewliving.com/news/craft-beer-news This is a site that I've been talking about starting for well, over a year now, and this had to be my first article...

Re: Hop Cold Brew Coffee

Sounds like something I need to try, and something that I might have to do a story on. Is this a regular thing, or just a temporary experiment?

Re: 2 Pin-Lock Kegs for Sale -- SOLD

Had planned to bring these to the next meeting and hook a new brewer up. BUT, then I got an offer I just couldn't refuse, so they're gone.

I will keep my eye out for the future though.

2 Pin-Lock Kegs for Sale -- cheap!

I picked up a couple of pin-lock kegs today for cheap. They'll need new o-rings, but the poppets look pretty good. They definitely need a good cleaning, but they otherwise look to be in really good shape. I'd be happy to sell them to a new brewer looking to start kegging, or a current pin-lock user ...

Re: valve installation and wort straining

I currently use a bazooka style tube (stainless mesh), that's bent in a circle and connected to two ends of a copper T, which connects to a copper diptube that's connected to my ball valve. I used to get into problems with really hoppy whole leaf brews if I went "free range," but now I jus...

Re: Homegrown Hops

My Cascade are also producing well this year (2yr). I have a food dehydrator, and I've also seen some people using box fans with screens to air-dry them. Others have just said lay them out and let them air-dry. I have a vacuum sealer and freezer space. I just need to know how best to prepare them --...

When you say you let them dry for a few days, could you give some more details on that?

Re: Homegrown Hops

It would be an excellent seminar! I'm looking at the same situation. Not sure when to harvest. Not sure how to dehydrate.

Re: 3 Keggle (15.5 gallon) Brewing Rig with stainless burner

Offer taken off the table. I was able to get the new kettles cheaply enough, that I'll be able to keep both systems for now.

Thanks to everyone who contacted me. I'll keep you in the loop.
