↑↑↑ Wow, finally legal in all 50 states, but only legal to brew 60 gallons per year? (15 gallons every three months.) At least in Kansas we can do 200/year. Never thought I'd see the day that I thought Kansas' liquor laws GOOD by comparison. Well, okay, not GOOD... but at least not quite as draconia...

I've read all about the mythical Beefy Bodine, but I can't seem to find one for sale ANYWHERE. And believe me, I've looked. Apparently they stopped making them? If you got a hook-up for one, please let me know.

Jared, what is the make and model of your motor? Can anyone who's direct-driving their mill give us some makes/models/part numbers to search for?

Motorizing my mill has long been on my To Do List also. But finding a motor with the desired low RPM and high torque has proven VERY difficult without spending a ton of money. I too would rather do a spider/lovejoy coupling than set up flywheels and belts, so please let me know if you come across so...

Sure... bring it along to the meeting. If I can't use it, I'll try to find it another home and keep it out of the landfill. I looked at the Insinkerator website. Looks like it's a pretty damn high RPM (1700+), but no info on torque. Really wish it had some info on how many foot-pounds it can handle....

I'd be interested in motorizing my mill with it... been looking for a very long time for a motor, in fact. Are its RPM and torque info on it?

Are you looking to trade or just find it a good home? Either way, I'm very interested.
