Re: Snake Couplers
I have Foxx part numbers to rebuild these snake couplers if anyone is interested. I just rebuilt a few of them myself for a few bucks.

Re: Yeast starter question for lagers
I do a multi-step starter for all my lagers. I do 15 to 20 gallon batches so it usually takes 2 steps then pitch into wort. I use http://www.yeastcalculator.com/ for roughly calculating how much I need. If you don't have a big enough flask, then you will need to cold crash step 1 and decadent off t...

Re: Yeast starter question for lagers
Also dont worry about making your lager starters cold. You are making yeast not beer. I mention this because its a common question.
I also like the yeast calc Jared posted better than Jamil's. Jamil's is good but I've found his pitching rates higher than what is actually needed.

Re: October 2014
One correction. The November tasting will be sour beers and will be in conjunction with the barrel aging/sour beer panel.

Re: Stuff 4 sale CFC added
I'll take the regulator with the gauges if you still have it. Joe decided on the one with gauges. So the Norgen without gauges is the one I have left. I tested it out and it works fine. You could get a low pressure gauge for around $5 and rebuild kits are available if it ever needs serviced. Let me...

Re: Immersion fermentation chiller
Interesting idea for those without the space for a temperature controlled fermentation area. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/433436998/brewjacket-immersion-lager-beer-without-a-refriger Its just a peltier cooler. Tech savvy homebrewers have tried this themselves over the years. Didn't seem to ...

Depends on what the trade is. I'm selling stuff to get money to build the new brewery. But then again, you have done a lot for me over the years so I'm sure we can work something out.FDillon00 wrote:I'll do the last sanke, unless you want to trade me.
