Re: Building a Kegorator... Need your advice.
I do have a regulator I could sell you cheap. I think I got it for like $20. It needs a little TLC, but I'm pretty sure it could be cleaned up and work just fine. That theory is yet untested though. I'd been meaning to clean it up and keep it as a spare, but never got around to it. If it doesn't wo...

Re: Building a Kegorator... Need your advice.
Anyone have spare regulators, or other misc. parts?
Question---Is it advisable to use a 5lb. CO2 tank, or a 20lb. I don't imagine I'll go through the CO2 very quickly. I'll probably only every have 1-3 kegs on hand. Will having the gas sit around for a long time have any adverse effects?

Building a Kegorator... Need your advice.
Next weekend I'll be picking up a chest freezer that I plan to convert into a kegorator... I'm looking for some advice on what equipment I'll need to make this work. I've honestly got no clue what I'm doing here so your help is appreciated. For now I just plan to use picnic taps. I'll worry about ge...

Re: While not beer, I had mentioned at the meeting I'd post it
By whisky you mean, of course, whiskey with an (e), and by whiskey (with an e), of course, you mean bourbon whiskey, of which I would recommend trying some Buffalo Trace or Wellers. I have some Buffalo Trace Cream Liqueur that is unbelievable. Unfortunately the only place to buy it is at the distill...

Re: KB taking Holiday Turkey orders...
Today is the 15th... I called KB's on the 12th and again on the 13th... Never heard back from them, but I left a message both times. I hope they'll still make me a turkey!

Re: kicking back a few ounces of the Bourbon Barrel Stout
Hrmpfff. I still don't have mine bottled. Darn my busy schedule. I hope Sean has left a little bit in the keg that he's storing for me! Hopefully sometime in October between my various trips.

Thanks for posting about this sale! I just scored one at HyVee on 6th Street in Lawrence for a total price of $53 and change. The Clinton Parkway Lawrence HyVee didn't have any.
