Wanted: Kegging Equiptment.

#1 Post by Frank » Mon Mar 21, 2011 9:19 am

I'm looking for kegging equiptment. I have been learking around KegConnection.com for a while and plan to pull the trigger shortly. So I am mainly looking for kegs (true ball lock please), as I plan to get the dual tap tower set-up. I am converting a 4.6 cu ft mini fridge for the tower. Thanks.

I have used Homebrewing.org quite a lot. It has been cheaper in terms of shipping to order 4 at a time. Homebrewing.org is very fast and all 20 or so kegs I have ordered have been in quite good shape. If you can get past the "ball" lock, come to the dark side, and move up to "pin" locks, right now, you can get 4 for $80.00 + shipping. Most of their other stuff is at least competitive with other outlets.

At first I was going with Pin lock, however at that time I was going for a collared Keezer. Now due to space available I want to stick to this build here and that extra 1" of width (.5 x 2 kegs) would mean I'd have to modify more then just the door. I hate the idea of cutting into the walls to make both kegs fit. I what to use this frididaire model because I don't have to bend down the freezer shelf/coolent coil and glueing in the wood under the top the tower can be more securely attached.

Aye, girth can be an issue.

I have a freezer with a 3tap tower that I am looking to part with. The freezer can hold 4 kegs and a 5# CO2 tank. Let me know if you are interested.

Dimenstions of freezer are roughly 24"X32"X35". With the tower and black taps, the height goes from 35 to 53" .

If you send me your email in a PM, I can send you several pictures.

$39 with $12 shipping is not a deal. I buy mine for $32.95 with free shipping at Morebeer!
