#1 Post by Rugger1978 » Wed Sep 19, 2012 2:41 pm

Hey guys,

Me and a few buddies are going to Brew up a 10 gallon batch of Pliney the Elder and split it. We have most the stuff but could would like to buy some stuff if any of you have some to spare:

1.21 lbs of Cara-Pils/Dextrin
1.21 lbs of Crystal 40, 45 or 60

Thanks!

Jared,
I have those two items. All I ask is a bottle of the finished product.
PM me if you want to come by and pick them up, I live just south of 23rd on Vermont.

Joe, that sounds great! What is your work schedule? I can swing by after work some evening next week. :) Thank you very much!

Now my next challenge is to go through the huge selection of hops I have in my freezer and figure out what I'm going to do for substituting Simcoe which I don't have, lol! Should be fun. :)

I can help you with the simcoe, too, but I might need a couple bottles of the finished product. As you may have noted in some previous posts, there is really no sub for simcoe and a Pliney clone without it, is just not right!
Not sure about my next week schedule, but I should be around most evenings. give me a call. 913-449-5666

Wow with the scarcity of Simcoe I was too afraid to even ask if anybody had some. I would be more then happy to pay your for it, or we can work out # of bottles. I'll give you a call next week and work out the details. Thanks a ton!
