Court Avenue, Des Moines

We ate lunch here on the way to Chicago. Nice building in the downtown area near the Capitol. The food was pretty good. I had some fish tacos and Kendra had a greek salad.

Since we were driving, we only had a beer each. I had a cask porter, that was pretty tasty. I'm always down for cask beer. They had a abbey for a seasonal that sounded good, but I didn't want to drink something with that much alcohol.

Definitely worth a try if you are in Des Moines. What else are you going to do? Actually the downtown seemed kind of cool, it looked like they had been rehabbing a lot of the buildings.

Court Avenue is one of my favorite places in Des Moines, along with The Royal Mile just around the corner.
