LBG scores Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Congrats. to FerguBooLynn. Thanks for the opportunity guys. It was my very special pleasure to be able to accept 7 medals for Lawrence Brewers Guild members; Andy Booth, Chuck Ferguson, and Shane Lynn. Not a bad showing percentage wise, for both the entries submitted by the Guild and all of the other clubs competing with their entries. It was quite fun to just show up and be seated for the banquet dinner(thanks Neva), listen to the Ray Hill story of home brewer to Pro, and wait on the awards presentation. As the BJCP categories and winners were being announced our representation was being defined as formitable. For those of us that don't know there are 28 styles with 3-4 sub categories in each style. I sat up front and to the left of the presentation area. That was good cause I had to make that trip several times.

As the night progressed the following awards were presented to us:

Andy; Gold-American IPA, Gold-Belgian Specialty, and Silver-North German Altbier

Shane; Gold-Wood Aged Beer and Gold-Spice, Herb? or Vegetable

Chuck; Gold-Scotch 70 shilling Heavy and Bronze-Old Ale

Woo Hoo!

Congrats. FerguBooLynn :3some:

Look forward to entering some comps with you guys soon.

Just wanted to say thanks to Chuck for accepting graciously.

Also, Chris (Csbosox) joined LBG last year. He also won:

Gold Amber Ale
Silver Belgian Specialty Spelt Saison

So add 2 more to the LBG bling. Congrats everyone and thanks again. I want to encourage other members next year to enter.

Pardon me for my ignorance. I did not realize that Chris was a paid member. Congrats to you too. Next time offer me a chair.
