Sam Adams Chocolate Bock
This came in a fancy 750ml bottle. It was a Valentine's Day Gift, but goes for about $14 a bottle.
Poured dark brown, fairly carbonated.
There was cocoa in the aroma with a slight metallic odor that dissapated as the beer warmed.
There was a lot of malt flavor with just a hint of chocolate. I also got a bit of alcohol.
All in all, I was very underwhelmed by this beer. It was worth trying , but I'm glad I didn't pay for it!
