Picked this up at Mass Beverage, mostly because it was new to me. (And the bottle looked cool!)
Style: Strong Ale? Dark Bitter?
Pros: Nice chocolate, carmel, toffee notes. Appropriate amount of bitterness for an English beer.
Cons: Nothong of note. Travelled well.
Rating: 8 (pretty good)
Additional Comments: Dark Ruby Color. Flavor profile changes significantly between 50 degrees and room temp. Colder, you get carmels/toffee notes. Warmer, you get the chocolate/fruit notes.

I do like it. In fact I am looking for an all grain recipe right now!

I took it that they were aiming for a dark English ale style. Didn't get the chocolate & fruit flavors but we didn't let 'em get that warm, neither.

Both of us would certainly buy this one again but would save it for a special occasion at a Hamilton a six-pack. Price this at 8 a sixer and we'd include it in the regular store-bought rotation.
