Great Divide Brewing Company - Yeti Imperial Stout

#1 Post by cyburai » Sat Feb 25, 2006 11:09 am

Bought this at Jensen's last night. I have heard many of the guild members talk about it, so it had to be tried. 22oz bottle for $5.99

Style: Imperial Stout
Pros: Smooth for a big beer.
Cons: Flavors were a bit muted, I expected more carmel and toffee notes.

9.5% ABV, 75 IBUs

Wen I tasted the Oak Aged version of this, the wood was a bit overwhelming to me. That's part of the reason for picking this up. It's a good imperial stout, but nothing jumps out making it unique.

Rating: 6
