B-brite cleaner

#1 Post by Jensen » Mon Feb 20, 2006 8:03 pm

I have been a big fan of B-brite cleaner for over 10 years now. It is an oxygenating powder cleaner that bubbles as it scubs... a tablespoon per gallon of warm water is all you need and can sit for as long as you like, and won't hurt metals. Does need to be rinsed, but leaves things pretty darn clean. Is bio-degrad and is safe for septic systems. It is just a cleaner-- so you would still need to use a sanitizer such as iodofor. Just my two cents worth :D

Where do you get it at? How much is it for how much quantity?

I have always (3 times) bought bulk 10 lbs at a time. Small 8oz tubs
(at most brew stores) are around $3.95. Off the net, 5lb pakages are $14 and 35lb packages are $79. If anyone would like to try some I'd be more than happy give them some.
