June Meeting Minutes
The Lawrence Brewers Guild met June 8, for our regular monthly meeting. The location of the meeting was the Unitarian Fellowship located at 1263 N. 1100 Road.
The seminar was given by Chuck Ferguson on his meeting with the Maltose Falcons Brewclub of California. Chuck brought a Belgian beer that was bottled in the champagnois method. Thanks Chuck! The seminar was inexplicably held after the meeting instead of the usual before meeting time.
Chuck volunteered to clean up. Thanks again, Chuck.
The group self introduced and a sheet for names and what was brought to meeting was passed around. Thirteen brewers signed the sheet indicating what beer they brought. There were 6 guests at the meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
? Liquid Bread tour is still pending further planning.
? Van damage from the Boulevard Tour was $300 and has been paid out of the Guild Treasury
NEW BUSINESS
Committee Reports:
? Public Relations: John Monahan is working with Mass Beverage to set up a homebrew demonstration. Andy volunteered his system. Chuck will bring the ?tower of power?.
Mass beverage is looking for tips on carrying limited homebrew supplies.
The committee requested that the guild obtain business cards
? Legal Committee: It is not legal to pitch yeast on commercial property.
? Competition Committee, Renfest wants dates, etc?
? John is receiving $20 for getting 24 pint glasses for the church.
? Sign up lists were passed for Brewfest Committees, the committee members follow:

No one signed up for the Beverage Committee, so I guess there will be no beverages at the brewfest!!
