Interclub Brewing Competition
This was postponed by outside clubs; we’ll decide in the future whether or not to brew again for this event.

Brewfest! – A Review
Members gave feedback on the 2011 Brewfest so that we can continue to improve the event.

**Put out your campfires before leaving!!**

In General: Everyone needs to volunteer for something, and sign-up on the forums ahead of time. Check the forum for specific things, and please be ready to help during the event. Many hands, light work. Too few people were doing too much.

Please provide a “heads up” for age-appropriateness.

Beverage Committee:
*“Beverage Committee rocked.”

Logistics Committee:
*Koozies sold out!
*Tasting cards were great – a big improvement; thanks to Ken!
*Need: “I Brewed” stickers.

Food Committee:
*Great shrimp boil!! Tucker and Jim were volunteered by everyone else to run that again next year.
*Need more bread next year – ran out for pulled pork sandwiches.
*Dog control: owners, please take more active control of your guests. Keep them away from the food and Chuck’s leg-hydrant.

Brewing:
The Brewfest beer is looking good.

Upcoming events:
*Officer nominations in November.
*Inter-club competition: was postponed; we may or may not brew Frank’s winning recipe again, more info coming.
*Christmas party will be 6pm to midnight on Saturday, December 17, at the old train depot / visitor’s center in north Lawrence. Thanks to Dale for handling scheduling. There will be some music, potluck. There might be beer, perhaps winter warmers, or whatever people bring.

Non-club, yet worthy event: Nov. 6, 5pm. Benefit concert for AVF - Alliance for Veterans and Families at Abe and Jake’s. Someone please post more info on the public forum.

Thank you to the people who brought snacks!
Life begins at 100. 100 IBUs, that is!
