LBG Minutes – February 2012

Tasting
This month’s tasting featured Value Lagers. No, wait; hoppy beers! We sampled Sierra Nevada’s Ruthless Rye, a RyePA; Bridgeport Dark Rain, a black pale ale; Chris Stenger’s Nasty Math; and Laughing Dog’s Sneaky Pete Imperial IPA. Angelo also discussed categories for the monthly tastings for the rest of the year. He has a schedule on the forum; feel free to brew for the tastings!

Seminar
Chris Stenger discussed the Cicerone program for “Beer Sommeliers”. There are three levels, Beer Server, Certified Cicerone, and Master Cicerone. More info is available at http://www.cicerone.org.

Business Meeting

Librarian – Jeff went over check-out procedures.

Actually that was "about $7400". I'll turn up the volume a little next time!
