Minutes of the April 8th Meeting
Meeting Location: April's meeting was held at Free State Brewing. Special thanks to Steve for giving us the tour.

Old Business
Big Brew: The Oak Barrel for Big Brew is going to be shipped in May. The beer will go into the barrel during secondary fermentation. Rob suggested that we bottle some for competitions. Joe distributed the AHA's official Double IPA recipe.
Brewfest '04:

Tickets: Joe has Brewfest tickets printed. Tickets are numbered and recorded. Joe also printed 30 tickets for ages 10 - 20 (under 10, free), and 42 complimentary tickets. All ticket money needs to be turned in by the June meeting, prior to Brewfest. Craig Cottingham volunteered to be ticket Nazi.

Bands: Prairie Acre and Uncle Dirty Toes are confirmed. Uncle Dirty Toes will play the first 3 hr slot, Prairie Acres will play the final 3 hr slot.

Food: Rob Dewhirst will purchase paper supplies. Joe Yoder will provide an inventory of items leftover from last year. Someone needs to supply Gott coolers for water and Koolaid. Andy will provide a large grill.

Beer: Rob Dewhirst urged everyone to email him with their donations.

Shelters: Free State Brewing will donate 2 15 x 25 tents for use that day. They will have their banner affixed. Andy will pick up tents and any necessary ropes, etc., and will set up on site Friday night prior to Brewfest.

Glasses: Pete reports the cost is $250 for 192 glasses. He will order 1 additional case.

Maps and Signs: Joe distributed Brewfest maps. Barry will provide directional signs.

New Business
Beer Exchange: Joe suggested a beer exchange program among LBG members. Members can trade equal amounts of beer. Everyone liked the idea and we will work on the concept in future meetings.

Meeting adjourned for FSB tour.
