Rob called the general meeting to order
Greetings to guests from Lawrence.com
Joe Yoder (and someone else?) volunteered to clean up after the meeting
Rob is taking camping reservations, so members don't have to scramble for spots something like 100 camping spots, so there's plenty of room
Rob and Craig will be taking money and tickets during the meeting, and will decide if we need to issue more tickets
Joe reports:
the music format will be the same as last year (Uncle Dirty Toes, then Prairie Acre)
four brewing demonstrations
looking for a PA system for interstitial music (has one, wants a better one)
Sean reports:
130 gallons of beer has been pledged
Dennis Sundermeyer is coordinating sides
Craig reports:
Barry has been given a mostly-hard number for glasses (216)
Matt will order T-shirts
Andy is picking up the awnings from Free State
Andy is also bringing stock tanks for cooling beer
Rob is building beer faucet towers, and is offering to make custom handles also reminds us of the sign board
(took a break for beer and collecting money)
Rob went through his last-minute checklist of things for Brewfest
Sean needs a 5-gallon cooler for water; John Monaghan volunteered to get one
John is also in charge of lemonade
Joe and Shane are in charge of policing the grounds afterwards (delegating as necessary)
Joe: "When Joe Yoder leaves, Brewfest is over."
committee heads need to email Craig or Rob with
* how many comp tickets they need
* estimated expenditures
Rob adjourned the meeting, but ticket sales continued afterwards
no commercial tasting
