INTRODUCTIONS

• Homebrew: Orval brought an IPA. Josh brought a sour. Dave O. brought an ESB.

EVENTS

• The August Hoppy Hour will be at 6 Mile Chophouse.

• Steve Brown has Great Taste tickets for you to pick up. Pay Jon.

• Crane is having a homebrew swap event July 14. Orval plans to participate. Details at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4406

• KCBM reached out regarding a multi-club collaboration for Hip Hops Hooray on Aug. 17. If you're interested in participating, sign up on the forum post: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4403

• Kansas Hop Co. is planning a homebrewer day at their hop farm near Ottawa. The date is Aug. 24. Details have been posted at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4416

BREWFEST

• The Dwight Burnham Memorial Brewfest XXIV is coming up fast on Saturday, Sept. 28! Committee heads include Frank, beverage; Brick and Cindy, logistics; Steve Brown, music; and Dale, food; and Hollie, shrimp boil.

• The forum thread for keg donations is posted at viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4412. Make sure you pick the closest base style so Frank can balance the flights.

• Frank has reached out to several breweries to attend Friday night. Remember, Friday night is for MEMBERS ONLY.

• Ken and Jon are needing some help getting the tickets printed. If you can help with that, talk to Jon.

• Volunteer for other tasks at viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4417.

• Sign up for a side dish at viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4418.

• NEW THIS YEAR: Dale rented the campground for Thursday night for MEMBERS ONLY. If you want to come that night, you'll pay Dale $20 cash the day of.

Treasurer

• $5,130.16 in funds as of July 7.

• Paid the church $800 in rent for the year.

• Getting ready to pay insurance (about $405).

• Will get reimbursed $900 as people pay for their Great Taste tickets.

Librarian

• New book: Brew Like a Monk

• Recovered book: Artisan Cheese Making at Home

FRESH ON THE FORUM

• A couple articles have been posted about souring and stats from the AHA.
