If you lived East of the Missouri River and other out of the way places, it was an oddity. Remember the old cans that were opened with a V shaped can punch or a pocket knife? Oh, and then the great invention of the pull-top.
Memory Lane
In the '70s, a six of Coors could be purchased for less that $3 a six in Kansas and doubled in Missouri with import fees . The world economy has changed since then.

The Push Button was a pain. A screw driver worked pretty good for opening them!
