My New Beer Labels

#1 Post by Frank » Thu Jun 16, 2011 9:16 pm

Here is my new beer label. This use is laminated on my taps but they could be mass produced for bottle giveaways. It's a little "fuzzy" at the bottom because I messed up the lamination.

EDIT: Yep that's a picture of the actual beer at the top

I sent the file, it includes a couple photos so you get the idea. If the file size is too large let me know I'll take them out for a smaller file.

Oh yea, I found I had to attach a Popsicle stick to the back to keep it straight.

Hey Frank, could I get a copy of that file also?

I really like your layout. The photo and trivia about the style is a nice touch.

Can't tell from the photo, but do you have a cut through one side of the hole at the top, or just a solid hole? I'd like to make some of these eventually, but I'd have to put a hook on top instead of a hole, so you could switch them out easily. Popsicle sticks to keep them from curling was a nice tip.

They're really smart lookin' buddy. Well done. Thanks for yet another great contribution.

It's a solid hole because they were designed to hang around the neck of a bottle. For use in the taps I cut the hole in the paper, cold laminate them, seal the edges, cut the lamination where the hole is, cut across the hole at the 3 or 9 o'clock position, hang on the tap, and cover up cut with clear packing tape. The Popsicle stick I have put inside the lamination and also taped down on the outside with clear packing tap. The lamination is just so they last longer, but I generally throw them away after each keg, just because each batch is slightly different it way of ABV, OG, FG, IBUs. Send me an emaill address and it call all be yours for the low low price of frrreeeeeeeee....
