Canning starter wort

#1 Post by Blktre » Mon Jul 24, 2006 12:19 pm

Canned 8 qts and 8 pints of starter wert yesterday. I mashed my own grains, an entire 3.25# of grain....wooohoooo. Anyways, it took me 3 hrs to do and cost me zilch. With the price of DME nowdays and the time it takes to build starters one at a time, you cant go wrong canning your own wert. So, if anybody wants to stop by, hang out, and can some starter wert, bring your grain, canning bottles, lids, and rings over and we will get it done........just offering....
