Another way of using gelatin

#1 Post by Blktre » Mon Jul 24, 2006 9:53 pm

I thought id share this conversation. Theres been alot of talk with some LBG members and clarity and chill haze. I use the stuff old school, but theres a guy after 20 batches is getting the same results by just dumping it straight into secondary. It goes against what ive learned, but 20 batches is a pretty decent conclusion that this way works and its tons easier...

I'll try to remember to take some before and after pics. I usually have pretty cloudy beer, but that isn't priority right now, so I really don't give two nickles worth of a [expletive deleted].
Thanks!

Bill,
Gel works best when the beer is cold. Not sure how well it will do sitting at room temp. But let us know...
