My new brewery.

#1 Post by Frank » Sat Mar 10, 2012 12:36 pm

Today is my first brew day in my very own brewery. I have always been hesitant to call my self a "brewer" or my house/garage a "brewery". There is was just something missing, I mean just because I have some tools and a car doesn't make me a mechanic or my garage an "auto shop". This picture I took last night when I finished running a pair of new copper lines into my garage. Now that I have spent 8 hours sweating copper pipe together, and have the little burn marks all over my left forearm from dripping solder I feel comfortable calling my space specialized for a brewery. JHawkBeerMaking has been born.

Hot and Cold. Sweet!
Just call me Andy!

1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.
2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer.
3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur.
4. When a "Double IPA" just is not enough

It is soo sweet, I have been cleaning kegs like a mad man cause I can hot spray them out. Also all my equipment gets a hot spray down and hardly needs a sponge bath any more.

It's crazy to think it only took me 2 and a half years to get here.

Nice job Frank! It's a little hazy, but my crystal ball shows a utility sink in your brewery's near future too! :?:

Awesome Frank!
Nice work!
Shouldn't the cold be color-coded blue, not yellow though? :)
