Hello Craft Beer people!
ManKind Brewing Company is a new kind of brewpub with local and sustainable focus to open in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City in 2013
We have officially launched our 45 day fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. If you are not familiar with Kickstarter, it is an on-line fund raising forum for artistic ideas and projects where people can contribute to the cause and receive "rewards" based on their contribution level. All contributions will be processed by Amazon payments. If you already have an account with Amazon then it will be REALLY easy to contribute. If you do not already have an account with Amazon, it will still be easy to set one up on Kickstarter.
Note: Contributions and payments will not be processed until after the 45 day campaign expires (Feb. 10th), and ONLY if our goal is met.
Here is a link to our Kickstarter campaign.

This is a great opportunity to support craft beer in Kansas City, the Midwest, and the United States as a whole. Show your support for our community oriented industry by helping new craft breweries open in your town, city, state or country.
We understand times are tough and money is usually tight for all of us. If you cannot contribute we understand, but please help by liking us on facebook and spreading the word to everyone you know that loves craft beer or may be interested in helping this dream become real.
Our website is a little embarrassing in its simplicity but it will be upgraded soon enough. Thank you for your patience. In the meantime please use facebook and this email address to correspond and stay up to date with our progress.
Thank You.
Cheers, Prost, Salut and Slainte!

If anyone can make a successful run at this Micah can. Good luck to our old friend and wishing him and his wife a happy journey!
Just call me Andy!
Lupulin Threshold Shift
lupulin threshold shift \lu·pu·lin thresh·old shift\ n
1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.
2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer.
3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur.
4. When a "Double IPA" just is not enough

Re: ManKind Brewing Company
Micah Weichert is a great guy and I have been friends with his brother Davey Weichert for years. Micah was a brewer for 75th St and is moving out on his own which is exciting. Expect a donation from me Micah as I'm wishing you the best. Cheers!
