I got a chance to talk with part of the team opening Merchants Pub & Plate about their 30 tap craft beer program. The exact tap list will be an opening night surprise, but some notable mentions include favorites like The Free State Brewing Co., Tallgrass Brewing Company, Boulevard Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Co, and New Belgium Brewing. Also they are excited to be one of the first to offer Stone Brewing Co. on tap in Lawrence. Finally look for the taps to change over pretty regularly because they plan to mainly use 1/6th barrels.
