First Brew
Hey everyone. Just wanted to share that the boys and I made our first brew. We brewed a Kolsch last Sunday at Brew Lab in Overland Park. Ended up with about 10.5 gallons into a pair of fermenters. We didn't pitch until we got the wort down to around 60 which was yesterday afternoon. Pitched one with Kolsch 2565 and one with German Ale 1007 and both are bubbling away today. Anyway just wanted to share the experience, now it's the long wait.

Re: First Brew
Congratulations! Welcome to the club. How did you cool the wort that it took 24 hours to cool to 60? And don't be mistaken, that wait will be well worth it when you're drinking your own cold beer!
