Information is good. Understanding the who, what, when, where, and why of the people engaged in the same activity allows us to better understand certain things. Plus, it’s just interesting.
A few months back, we released our annual General Homebrewer Survey and sought responses over the following month, during which it was completed by 2,694 people from around the world. In addition to providing an interesting peek into what the modern homebrewer looks like, our hope is that this information can be used to highlight areas of potential focus so that homebrewing will continue to grow as a hobby.

it would be interesting to see this run on LBG, adding batch size, where grain is purchased (since our grain buy is non existant)
maybe some other questions.

Yeah, we've tried to get the grain buy rebooted a couple times at some recent meetings, but with the general downtrend in # of people brewing, and # buying whole bags locally at Homebrew ProShoppe, it's been difficult for sure
Could look at implementing some sort of survey at some event/meeting where a lot of us are all together. Maybe a survey by phone at the holiday party or Maifest. Would be interesting to see how our club's data aligns
