Bit of an update.

There are 20 people interested in going at this point, and the Hall of Foamers has also expressed interest in going.

Heartland Transportation quoted appx $1000 for the day.

Just to not wreck the club treasury, I'd like to propose everyone chip in $20 to offset the cost of the transportation.

I'd also like to propose we stop at Blind Tiger on the way home to drop off the Hall of Foamer Folks and have dinner and a pint.

I'll second that one. $20 ain't half bad for a cab ride to and from Manhattan. Let's get this on the agenda for next week's meeting!
Cheers!

I'm still in, but just how busy is Tallgrass going to be with the Country Stampede going on that same weekend? Also what are the time frames we are looking at? What time to leave and what would be the expected return time? And who is letting me crash at their house :)
Thanks!

We are meeting at the Old Tanger Outlet Mall (I-70 Shopping Center) in North Lawrence at 830am. The bus leaves at 9am for Topeka to pick up the Hall of Foamers.

$20 for members
$25 for non-members.

Please bring your cash or check with you.

We are heading to Kite's in Manhattan for Lunch, then to the Brewery.

We plan to be back in Town by 7pm.

I know glass is not an option on the bus, but there is a stool, what kinda of beverages are we thinking? BYOB, a keg of one of our local breweries, etc?

It is the 28th (Saturday).

Kegs are ok, but we will need to bring plastic cups for the trip.

2 litre soda bottles would be a good option for homebrew, especially if you have one of those fancy carbonator caps.

Everything all set? I think I am in so long as I can find someone to let my dogs out that afternoon.

Jeff Gill is asking when we will be at Kites. I emailed him earlier this week with some questions so he emailed me back regarding lunch.

If you know when we will be at Kites, will you let me know via forum, pm, email, etc.

Thanks,

Rob Martin
