SN Harvest Ale Pic

#1 Post by Blktre » Wed Oct 07, 2009 4:41 pm

Kim, Brick, and I went to Falling Rock while at GABF. We were apart of trying to set a new world record of how fast to kill a 1/2 barrel. This years 1/2 barrel was SN Harvest which is the seasonal release of their Wet hop IpA which btw, was the very first offering of Harvest to the public, even better. The keg was emptied in a little over 12min. A new world record.

For me, the best beer of the weekend. Kim snapped the pic with her phone...

1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.
2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer.
3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur.
4. When a "Double IPA" just is not enough

Something is a little blurry in that pic, and I don't think Kim was shaking the camera! :drunken:

I'm sure balancing a pint of Harvest Ale and snapping a pic isn't one of Kim's stronger points...Lol
