Wow, can't argue with the results!!
I guess the "90 Minute" part only takes an hour to clone! And no "flavor" hops, either... I've been moving more hop-forward, but haven't completely omitted a short-boil addition. It works.

It does need a 90 minute boil. The pilsner has to have that or it will taste off.

Does this mean the hop bitterness levels are different for a ninety minute boil compared to your listing? Or does it mean that the beer you brewed-- rocked, like so many that you brew, and who the hell needs accurate notes-- Chuck Norris, I mean Sean B!!!!

I've already downed 5 gallons of this beer by myself. 4 pints is a pretty good cutoff point for this beer (hint hint Sean). Anything past that I get the "just how many beers have you had tonight?" questions from Monette.
I'd love to see what it tastes like if it ever gets a chance to actually age out a bit.

Anyhow.. the hop additions are correct in the recipes for amount and time. First 30 minutes is just boiling off the pils off flavors, then you start adding hops at 60 minutes left.

I just found a source here in VA that can get the real Dogfish 60 and 90 min ale. I am coming home for a couple of day in April. Anyone interested ?
