1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian.

Oh... I didn't forget! That's the old trick in the high-end world. Let people fall in love and get their heart set on a piece of gear before giving them sticker shock!
The equipment is awesome. I especially hate to get rid of the sub... But I've got a bad case of upgraditous!
Receiver: $750
Subwoofer: $1800

Yes they do. They actually make some really nice A/V amps, preamps, and receivers. And I love their spicey tomatoes mixed with a little melted Velveta.

Back in the 90's, Rotel also made really nice CD players. I'm still using my original 18 years later and won't give it up.

For you audiophile dorks. This is hilarious.
Its a thread from an AV forum where someone is asking how to spend $300K on the ultimate system.
The third reply down is the best reply possible!

Sale over!
The sub sold, and I'm going to hold onto the receiver for now.
Thanks for shopping!

All speakers sound good when you're on a coke binge in the middle of an orgy.
LMAO
Thanks!
