WOW! Guys... seriously... thanks so much for showing the love and really bringing it for my bro, Seth. I know he really appreciates it.

I'm starting to really get jealous that I'm travelling and won't be able to be there. All the same, I think I'll have to ask one of you to help me enter by proxy so I can make a proper donation of my own (and maybe win some of this great stuff!)

Have we established what tickets will be going for, etc? I want to buy as many as I can.

Thanks so much guys... you all rule and I'm really proud to be a member of the LBG right now.

I want to thank Mr. Blues for his generous donation of two six packs of his mead for the raffle. He dropped them by the house this morning. I know many of you really enjoyed this a couple of meetings ago. Thanks so much Bill--you rock, in a blues kinda way!

Monette said she'd donate two of her ceramic 'wonky' wine glasses. They are soda-fired porcelain and look damn good. She'll be famous some day, grab 'em up!
She'll even be there to drop them off!

You're welcome!

.....just remember the mead comes with a caveat.......

The Carta Blanca bottles are the original, straight mead batch (water, honey, yeast, etc. as has been documented before) and the Anchor Steam bottles are the melomel with raspberry & Jamaican allspice that you guys didn't try at the mead tasting meeting some months ago.

A request, whoever gets the melomel, lemme know what you thunk of it!?!

If you did not get a chance to post here please feel free to bring donated stuff to the meeting. Nothing is too small or inconsequential: remember lots of stuff will be piled together in different groups for quite a few raffle opportunities. Tickets will only be $2 a piece. There may even be a silent auction or two for some bigger items. I think this is going to be a great opportunity to raise lots of dough!

The silent auction and raffle last night raised $413 for Seth. LBG members contributed $150 in donations before June 1 which the club will match (as voted on in the April meeting).

Thanks to everyone who helped, esp. Jeff Jensen for organizing the silent auction and raffle!
