I vote for something not as dark...Scottish Strong Dark? Actually, im betting the whisky flavor in the next batch will be very subdued, if at all. That part will be interesting. Thoughts on that?

Im all 4 the wee heavy w/ a bit of smokey to it. there will be some kind of whiskey/oak to the next batch for sure , but that'll depend on the amount of age' n it gets. ... my thoughts

A Bock wold be nice, but if you have any ideas how to keep a 55g fermentor barrel cool at 50* during fermentation, then figure out how to keep the whisky barrel cold for lagering, then im all ears.....cuz a Bock does sound tasty!

C'mon Andy you just need to get that walk in done a little sooner...and maybee a little bigger...and maybee donate it to the barrel brew!
....or maybee we just go with an ale this time.

After talking w/ Andy ,and a beer or two, i think it would be possible to do the bock. We looked at the space it would take take up, and it might work . more to come latter.cheers
