AC and temp control for ferm chamber

Looking for a small, efficient AC unit for a fermentation chamber I'm building. I also need a temperature control unit for it. Don't want to spend a lot, but would rather spend a little more now, than over the next few years on the electric bill for a crappy unit.
If anyone has or has any solid leads on where to find them cheaply, I'd really appreciate a PM.
Thanks!
Matt

Still looking for a small window AC unit. Ferm chamber is built. Just need to slam an AC into it and I'll be ready to roll.
Anyone know of any leads? I'm toying with the idea of buying a new one, but would much rather get a bargain if I can find one quickly.

You will need to dig inside the unit and bypass the internal temp controller if you are going to hook it up to an external unit. Other wise, both controllers will be banging heads and the internal one wins. Resulting in not getting as cold as you want it and abnormal operation of the unit.

Yeah, I've been reading up on how to do that. Just one more reason I was hoping to get a cheap one. If I screw it up, I won't be out a hundred bucks.
I'll give you a call if I get stuck. I really want to do an external controller for accurate temp control. Have one from Jack (thanks again buddy) that will hopefully work. But am prepared to buy a new one of those also if I need to.
