January Tasting -- Central Waters Brewing Co., Amherst, WI
John Monaghan is currently up in Wisconsin and offered to bring back some beers that we're unable to get here in Kansas. So for January, we're going to do a different sort of tasting: a brewery tasting, featuring several styles from the Central Waters Brewing Company.
He'll be bringing back a selection of four of their beers for us to try at the meeting. Their barrel-aged barleywine is one he'll hopefully bring back.
It's scored very well on BeerAdvocate: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/652/41300
as have all of their beers: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/652
Their website is here: http://centralwaters.com
Check them out. I'm pretty excited for the chance to try something new from a brewery that's typically out of reach. Special thanks to John for the extra effort to make this possible.
