If you are interested in becoming a BJCP-certified judge, Alberta and Jackie Rager are putting on five monthly study classes, followed by the exam. BJCP stands for Beer Judge Certification Program http://www.bjcp.org/index.php
Classes are from 2-5 p.m. on Feb. 8, March 8, April 19, May 3 and June 7. The exam is July 12. They are finalizing the location but likely it will be near I-435 and Wornell.
Classes are $30 each, but $10 of each goes toward the exam fee, so if you attend all five classes your exam fee ($50) is paid for. If you miss some classes, you just pay the difference the day of the exam.
If you are interested, contact Alberta or Jackie Rager, 913-962-2501 or bacchus@bacchus-barleycorn.com
