Week in Review

#1 Post by klickcue » Sun Sep 20, 2009 9:42 pm

It has been an interesting week for me.

I have an Irish Stout that has fermented for 6 days with WLP004 (Irish Ale) that I pitched WLP510 into.

There is an American Pale Ale that normally uses WLP001 that is fermenting with WLP510 that has not slowed down in 7 days.

I harvested some Wyeast 2565 from a slant with a loop that was grown up in a 10 mL starter that is now in a 75 Ml wort. Meisel has some of this culture to play with.

I have some WLP510 growing in a petri dish that has a lot of single colonies.

I have grown another gallon of Orval goodies that need to be crashed.
Have Fun!

Chris

I sleep but not in the same period as most people. I think that Lee and Rob are up running around at the same time. Used to do schedules like Andy. That has changed today but I spend 3 hours on the road every day.

Have a lot of nice single colonies on the petri dish with WLP510. The slant of 2565 is about 3 months old and only remove a slight amount from the slant to use for the starter.
Have Fun!
