Looking for Sankey Pony Kegs

#1 Post by Blktre » Mon Aug 30, 2010 1:18 pm

I'm building a new keg washer out of pony kegs. This thing will have 2-3 pony kegs sitting sidexside. One keg will have PBW, one with Acid #5, and the 3rd a simple rinse for in between the caustic and acid washes. Two of the kegs will have heating elements in them to heat each solution. The elements will be operated by my dual Love Control box. All kegs will be attached to a manifold that goes to my big pump so I can switch from each solution with a throw of a valve.

Now that I'm switching to 15.5g Sankey fermenters, cold conditioning tanks, and serving vessels, I need a professional way of cleaning and keeping beer stone away. Im currently having to switch solutions with my single Sankey keg now and its a PIA.

Any help in locating 1-2 Sankey Ponies Id be grateful...

Thanks,
Andy

Are you talking about the 7.75g, 1/4 bbls?

I have one that's just sitting in storage waiting for me to do something with it. Was going to convert it into something eventually, but eventually hasn't yet come. Sounds like you might be able to put it to better use than me.

Give me a call.

Thanks Matt.
The biggest problem with them is the small size. Its just not worth making them into Keggles.
I will call you and lets make a deal!

Let me know if you need more. I got a buddy that may have 2 that he picked up at an auction. I can ask him how much for one or both if you want. I don't have a use for them or I would have picked them up.
Thanks!
