Another way of using gelatin

I thought id share this conversation. Theres been alot of talk with some LBG members and clarity and chill haze. I use the stuff old school, but theres a guy after 20 batches is getting the same results by just dumping it straight into secondary. It goes against what ive learned, but 20 batches is a pretty decent conclusion that this way works and its tons easier...

I dug through the other message boards and found that no one is having any complaints about this process. I'm going to dump 2 tablespoons into my IPA. It looks pretty cloudy still after 2 weeks in secondary. Wish I had fridge to chill it with (hint hint).

I'll try to remember to take some before and after pics. I usually have pretty cloudy beer, but that isn't priority right now, so I really don't give two nickles worth of a [expletive deleted].

Gel works best when the beer is cold. Not sure how well it will do sitting at room temp. But let us know...
