Hey, I have a keg on tap and my CO2 just cashed out. I popped the disconnect off so I'm not going to loose carbonation, but now I need to know where to get more CO2. I have a carboy with a Wit that needs to be carbonated and drank so I need a refill stat. Where do you all suggest I go. I've heard that the welding supply place on Haskall is good but they only exchange. I have a nice clean 5lb bottle so I'd like a refill but I suppose I could exchange if I have to.

There is a place in Bonner Springs that refills. It's east of k-7 on k-32. Don't remember the name but it's a fire safety place.

Your right, Kirk just does exchanges. Sometimes they have some nice bottles in return sometimes not. The exchange part is why i always tell folks not to buy but rather just throw down a deposit instead. Otherwise you will be in the same boat as yourself having to drive to KC. Altho, Kirk will fill it for you, but it will need to be sent to KC filled and returned. Still a pain......
