I was wondering what everyone's opinions on pricing and materials for this kegging package I found at brewer's discount online....

Kegging Package with Two Kegs, w/o CO2

Dual Gauge Regulator Two Rebuilt Cornelius 5 Gallon Ball Lock Kegs, 8' 1/4" Super Flex Tubing, Faucet with 5' 3/16" Super Flex Tubing and Quick Disconnect, Gas Quick Disconnect, Adjustable Clamps 4 Oz BTF Sanitizer, 4 Oz BLC Beer Line Cleaner, CO2 wrench.

All for the low price of $107.95 plus 19.48 for shipping = $127.43. I thought this was a modest price but wasn't sure.

Anyone bought from them before?

Also, they ask if you want 3/16" tubing vs. 1/4". Can someone explain the pros and cons of the tubing size for me?

thanks,
andrew c.

What kind of faucet is it? Does it include a shank?

Price seems reasonable.

Dual gauge reg is usually arround $40-50
Used (not always clean or rebuilt) kegs are arround $20 x 2 = $40
QD's arround $3.50 x 2= $7
Clamps, hose, wrench and cleaner probably ads up to $25
Faucet price depends on what it is.

5' of 3/16" is your best bet for your liquid tubing. Theoreticaly, it will provide the proper ammount of restriction to produce the proper pour.
