Here's the dealio.. I have a friend, he plays bass in a band. I have yet to see this band. Though I hear they are pretty good. Good irish drunk rock.

Anyhow, they are playing at O'Malley's on November 24th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Any other takers on getting a van or something, trip up to O'Malley's, having a few pints and spending the night?

What do you say?

I'll usually jump at any chance to go to O'Malley's. I freakin' love that place. And it loves me. :)

But it is holiday time, so I too will have to check into that.

As for staying the night... did you have something in mind?
(EW! Get your mind out of the gutter! Seriously.)

Sherry has committed to designated driving our ass.. And I think we can get the guild to pop for the transportation.

We wouldn't be staying the night now.

Sorry Sean, starting to look like I won't be able to go either. Family stuff.

Perhaps we can do it as a guild sometime soon. I really think that anyone who hasn't been there before should definitely make that trip. Their new beers aren't quite what I personally call spectacular, but the character of the bar and the entertainment alone would be educational. Hanging out in a century-old lagering cellar turned pub is reason enough for me.

I hope you and Sherry will still make the trip and have an awesome time.
